Back to the queue
After working with translations for a while and overcoming the challenge of variables and HTML, I returned to translating Astra with a clearer understanding of the process. This time, I made quick and confident progress, applying what I had learned previously.
Adjusting the approach
One adjustment I made was to focus on strings within the same section of the theme: heading settings, customizer options, and panel tags. Working thematically rather than randomly helps maintain consistency between strings related to my contribution.
Accumulated progress
At this point, I already have a good number of translations “waiting” on translate.wordpress.org. They are all attributed to my username, smendez09, and are pending approval by a translation editor on the es_CR team. The workload is becoming increasingly visible on the platform.
What comes next
The next post will show the final result, the total number of strings submitted, a link to my public profile on translate.wordpress.org, and a complete view of what this contribution looks like from the outside.
